  • Annual Multi-Club Picnic!

    Hey BAM’ers

    Next month we are going to be having our annual Multi Club Picnic at Briones State Park on August 11th from 10am- 6pm! This is a great opportunity to lounge about on a nice Sunday afternoon ,drink some beer and have a hot dog or two and meet fellow homebrewers. This is a potluck event so please bring some food and beer to share! I highly encourage people to come as it really is a fun event. Children and dogs with leashes are welcome as well. Directions to the campground are down below. Feel free to email me with any questions you might have.

    Description

    Newt Hollow has eleven 10-ft tables, a 6-ft. table, 2 double BBQ’s, 7 single BBQ’s, a drinking fountain with spigot and chemical toilets. It is located near the Bear Creek entrance to the park, is well shaded by large oak trees and has a platform often used for small wedding ceremonies and skits. This site has a maximum capacity of 150.

    DIRECTIONS: from Hwy 24 take the Orinda Village exit and head north on Camino Pablo Rd. Shortly after Camino Pablo becomes San Pablo Dam Rd, turn right at the stoplight onto Bear Creek Rd. The Bear Creek entrance will be on your right, just beyond the Happy Valley Road intersection. From I-80 take the San Pablo Dam Rd exit and head east through town past the San Pablo Reservoir. Turn left at the stoplight onto Bear Creek Rd and look for the Bear Creek park entrance just beyond Happy Valley Rd.

  • World Cup of Beer 2013 : Thanks everyone

    The Bay Area Mashers would like to thank you all for entering, volunteering and otherwise supporting World Cup this year.
